DESCRIPTION:Welcome to this ‘Season for Growth’ Event! \nSeasons for Growth program for Adults is continually running. For you to be a participant in these groups please call 0417031170 to join the next group. \n‘Seasons for Growth’ Companion Training for Adults will equip/accredit you to run 3 hour seminars on  ‘Understanding Change\, Loss and Grief’; as well as running the Program in small groups – ‘Exploring the seasons of Grief’. \nThis training is recommended for ‘Companions’ who have already been trained in the Children & Young People’s program\, and have been approached by adults\, parents and /or carer’s\, asking for a program for themselves. \nThe training is also ideal\, to offer to the adults you service\, who may need to increase their resilience and social and emotional well being in order to cope. \nThe only way to enrol in this Training is online – via the website www.goodgrief.org.au. \nCitizens\, in all walks of life\, volunteer to be trained in ‘Seasons for Growth’ and run the program in small groups\, voluntarily\, outside or in addition to the work they already do\, to earn an income. DESCRIPTION:Seasons for Growth offers Two Parenting Programs  –  ‘One Day Workshops’  – in response to: \n\n“What can we do for our kids?”    or     \n“I just don’t know what to do to make things easier for them!”\n\nThe programs  have been designed to  guide parents\, in researched and trialled strategies\, to help their child when circumstances change. Feed back has come from children themselves. Sometimes what adults think is best is not always the case! \n For example……not talking to the child\, or involving them in conversations about changed circumstances. \nThe changes that are relevant to parents participating in these classes are either \n\nSomeone very special dying; or\nMum and Dad deciding to separate / divorce\n\nParents can contact Janice directly – 0417031170 – regarding these programs\, or make enquiries where children are participating in ‘Seasons for Growth’ groups at school or outside agency. \n
